I learned to sew at an early age and later enjoyed making quilts with my mother.  During my visits to Ghana, South Africa and Swaziland, I was overwhelmed by the beautifully creative designs and patterns of the fabrics.  I decided to combine the fabrics of Africa with my love of sewing into my business - making one-of-a-kind handmade quilts, pillows, shower curtains and other accessories.  Each item I create is a snapshot of the memories that I hold dear from my visits to Africa.

To support my homeland of Africa, my business gives to African children in two ways – a portion of my fabric purchases are donated to feed African children (through my supplier) and I donate 5% of each quilt sale to a selected African orphanage, currently New Hope Centre in Eswatini, South Africa.

Take a look at my beautiful hand-made African fabric products including lightweight and heavyweight quilts made from authentic printed fabrics, mudcloth and korhogo.  No two quilt designs are exactly alike so your quilt will be unique! 

Each quilt requires 6-15 hours to complete based on size and is definitely a labor of love!  My quilts are comforter quality and will be a beautiful addition to any home.
